Another Successful Productronica

Reel Service is proud to have again taken part in Productronica in Munich, a trade show which continues to evolve and innovate to drive the progress of the electronics manufacturing sector.  The 4-day show again boasted impressive statistics with 44,000 visitors from 96 countries and 1,500 exhibitors from 44 countries.  This year, in addition to Germany, the top countries for visitor numbers were Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, Russia, Great Britain and the Czech Republic.

This year the trade fair focused on trends such Smart Factory and Smart Maintenance and also looked at how to attract more young professionals and specialists into the industry through the ‘Accelerating Talents’ showcase aimed at making  students and young professionals more aware of the wide range of opportunities available throughout the field of electronics production.

The Reel Service stand was busy across all 4 days of the fair where we enjoyed meeting with current and prospective customers along with vendors, partners and old acquaintances and also to take advantage of the first-class networking opportunities provided by our industries premier event. 

By the end of the fair, Reel Service were in the same frame of mind as Rainer Kurtz, Chairman of Productronica’s Advisory Board who said “Given the numerous promising discussions, we are optimistic that the sector will achieve growth in the long term.”
