The latest member to join the growing Reel Service ’25 Club’ is Karen Kerr who joined the Kitting Department in 1993 as Kitting Operator. Karen’s hard work and positive attitude soon saw her promoted to Chargehand where she remains today supporting incoming receipt, inspection and Kitting of customer components.
Karen is best known for her warm friendly personality and huge smile which helps keep the department in good spirits. Karen’s smile is also the first thing our busy courier drivers see as they deliver our customer’s components and Karen can often be seen rolling up her sleeves and helping unload the boxes ready for incoming inspection and Kitting.
Karen’s professionalism and friendliness, along with her depth of knowledge and many years of experience make her a natural choice to train new start Operators within the Kitting Department. This ensures continuity of knowledge and that our next generation of staff benefit from the many years of knowledge invaluable team members such as Karen provide.
When Reel Service recently introduced a new weekend shift to further support customer requirements, it was no surprise that Karen was the first to offer her experience on this new shift allowing the company to further support customer requirements and operate to its full potential 7 days a week.
