Reel Service 30th Anniversary Staff Dance

To mark their landmark 30th year in business, Reel Service recently hosted a formal staff dance to thank & reward staff for their hard work and enduring service.  The schedules and pressures of day to day work life do not always allow staff to socialise and get to know each other so the evening provided a great way for everyone to relax, unwind and catch up with colleagues, retired friends and staff partners. Staff were treated to drinks and a fantastic 4-course dinner which was enjoyed by all.

We were also honoured to welcome guest of honour, Mr Larry Lim, Group President, Telford & Reel Service group of companies who made the journey from Singapore to share in this special evening.  During his speech Larry commented:

‘It is no small achievement reaching 30 years in business and this is due to the hard work & dedication of everyone involved with Reel Service over the years, our fantastic customers, committed suppliers and loyal staff members young and old, present & retired, without whom, none of this achievement would have been possible.’

A big hit from the evening was the Photo Booth which provided endless entertainment for staff to take selfies with fun props and to relax and have fun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Staff also enjoyed a prize raffle with gifts donated by Mr Lim, pictured L-R:  Gary Smith, Hannah Sutherland, Larry Lim.

No party is complete without a live band and local favourites Whiteside provided a fantastic live set of everyone’s favourite tunes from over the years.  Later in the evening, the addition of a local fiddle player transformed the dancing into a Cèilidh with everyone taking part in traditional Scottish dances to round off what everyone agrees was a fantastic evening.

During his toast and address to staff, Managing Director Gary Smith added, ‘here’s to the next 30 years!’
