Reel Service Ltd has significant infrastructure investment in tape and reel equipment. Latest technology machines from our sister company STI are utilised providing high resolution inspection. Full inspection for lead defects such as coplanarity, sweep and standoff; package inspection for mark, orientation, date code, lot number, part number etc. is carried out as an integral part of the taping & reeling for devices supplied in tray and tubes.

Vertical integration of consumable materials manufactured within our European facility underpins best in class equipment, processing speed and all important turn-around time. Appreciation of these important supply chain considerations are clear when considering new or special packages. Whilst 2000 carrier tape designs currently exist, custom carrier tapes for unusual or new components can be manufactured within a very short timescale, typically around 1 week.
