Reel Service has been providing tape and reel services to customers since 1987.

There has been significant investment in tape and reel equipment, with latest technology machines provided by our sister company STI. Automatic placement machines utilise high resolution inspection systems to check for lead defects such as coplanarity, sweep and standoff; and package inspection such as mark, orientation, date code, lot number and part number. This inspection is carried out as an integral part of the taping & reeling process.

High performance equipment coupled with our skilled in-house materials manufacturing division allows us to offer customers' quick turn-around times essential in supply chain considerations. 1800 carrier tape designs currently exist to suit most standard components and custom carrier tapes for new or unusual components can be designed and manufactured to customer specifications in a short timescale.

Our range of tape and reel machines provides us flexibility in the processing of components which can be received in tubes, trays, loose or bulk for bowl-feed.
