Telford & Reel Service Group is part of ASTI Holdings Limited ("ASTI"), a leading global technology company, listed in the Singapore Exchange. The Group holds many years of experience in the Tape & Reel packaging services business.  

Telford Industries Pte Ltd ("Telford") was first incorporated in 1990 while Reel Service Limited ("Reel Service") set up its first facility in Scotland in 1986. In 2000, ASTI acquired 60% stake in Reel Service and consolidated the Telford & Reel Service Group in a strategic partnership. In 2003, ASTI bought over the remaining stake in Reel Service and the Group has never looked back since. This partnership extended the offering of Semiconductor Manufacturing Services to other parts of the world covering Asia, Europe and the United States, to provide a global network of facilities. The Group also grew to become the world’s largest Tape & Reel Service provider.

The Group facilitates with 1,000 staff in action. Focused on efficiency and quality service, it provides round-the-clock operations, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. This service allows flexibility and quick turnaround time. To ensure stringent quality, all facilities are ISO9001:2000 certified.

The winning advantage of the Group is the strong engineering support for its equipment. As the Group uses mainly equipment developed within the ASTI Group, its equipment receives top priority in any troubleshooting.

The Group is able to support almost all types of surface mount devices with a capacity of 18million units/day for Tape & Reel, 500k units/day for Programming and 200 km/day for Tape-making.

Advanced Integrated Materials (“AIM”) was established to provide a separate identity to the division of Reel Service that designs and manufactures its own line of carrier tapes.
